Based on an installation created for a museum, Bruno de Almeida is joined by Tó Trips and Pedro Gonçalves
(from Dead Combo) in a performance-concert-film that explores the iconic imagery of Amália Rodrigues.
Using manipulated images from Bruno's several documentaries on Amália, the piece is built around the deconstruction and re-editing of Amália's music adding electronic
processed sounds. The juxtaposition of Tó Trips and Pedro Gonçalves' guitars with Amália's voice, added by Bruno's use of extrapolated turntables, proposes an original mix of
experimental music and Fado.
Concert-film: 70 minutes. Premiered at the Vila do Conde Film Festival 2010
