Bruno is in production on a feature lenght documentary about fado singer Camané. The film includes the recording of the new album "Sempre de Mim", excerpt from concerts, rehearsals and a long interview with Camané about the creative process involved in this type of soulfull music and the expression of the fado poets. A work-in-progress version was released on a limited special edition DVD by EMI Music under the title "The recording Sessions of Sempre de Mim" as a companion to the new album of originals. Bruno spent two weeks in the studio following Camané's recording process and his colaboration with producer José Mário Branco. Bruno also directed the music video for the song "Sei de Rio" which he shot in Lisbon's old neighborhood of Alfama. Camané is widely accepted as one of the most impressive and representative male voices of the new generation of Fado singers. He has made six albums which have been released across Europe and Asia. He was distinguished with several awards for his voice and talent. |
